Two national challenges in one year?

I found two "National Cub Challenge" badges for (what appears to be) 2004 at the 14th DELP Scout hall, amongst their display of national challenge badges:

  • This one says "Scout Foundation" at the top, as the 2002 badge does - I believe the Scout Foundation took over as "sponsor" for the challenge from Toughees somewhere between 1999 and 2001.
  • The other one does not list the Scout Foundation, similar to both 2001 and 2005. The date is large, with images replacing the "00" in the centre, like for the 2005 badge.

If anyone can clarify, even if they only know about one or the other, that would be great. For now I've listed both in the national challenge table, with no explanation. --Leo (talk) 09:04, 21 September 2024 (SAST)
