Bob-a-Job

Bob-a-Job, later called "Job Week", was a regular fundraising drive by Scouts from 1949 to about 1979. Scouts would earn money for their Troop by offering their services to do small jobs such as gardening, errands or washing a car. "Bob" was the nickname for a shilling, which was a small coin.
