Cheese puffs

  • 1 cup grated cheese
  • 1 cup cake flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard
  • Milk


  1. Mix the dry ingredients together well.
  2. Add the milk, a little at a time, stirring continuously, until the mixture forms a sticky dough.
  3. Add the mustard.
  4. Place one tablespoon of mixture in each cup of a patty pan (greased with margarine first).
  5. Cook in a preheated Dutch oven (with heat from above as well as the bottom) for about 12 minutes.
