Gilwell Reunion

The Gilwell Reunion is the annual meeting of Wood Badge holders, who are regarded as members of the "1st Gilwell" Scout Troop. The reunion was first held in 1921 and has been held every since year since then except the four 4 years during the Second World War. It is traditionally held on the first weekend of September as this was when the first Wood Badge Course was held in 1919.
