Gilwell Reunion is the annual meeting of all Wood Badgers (also known as Gilwellians). It was first held in 1921 and has been held every since year since then except for 4 years in the Second World War. It is held, traditionally, in the first weekend of September as this was when the first Wood Badge Course was held in 1919.

Western Cape Gilwell Reunion 2024

Gilwell Reunion 2024 was held at the Sea Scout Base in Cape Town. This is the 99th Reunion. Two new Wood Badgers were invested, memories were shared and attendees met in the spirit of scouting and renewed old friendships.
