Members of SCOUTS South Africa
If you are a member of SCOUTS South Africa and will be travelling into another country and visiting Scouts there, you need to ask for a letter of introduction from SCOUTS South Africa as a courtesy to the receiving country's Scout organisation.
If you are a visiting another country to take part in a Scout activity, then you need to apply to SCOUTS South Africa to request permission to travel there and/or partake in an activity.
If you are moving to another country and want to join Scouts there, you request a letter of introduction / good standing from SCOUTS South Africa.
International Scouts wishing to visit South Africa
If you are a foreign Scout or group of Scouts planning to visit South Africa and make contact with Scouts here, please contact SCOUTS South Africa headquarters prior to your arrival.
