Meerkat Out of the Box Badge/Photo Frame

Make a bottle cap photo frame

Type: Joint activity for a Burrow. Can also be done alone at home.

Time: 15-20 minutes

Make ONE frame together in the Burrow colour

Equipment

1. All these cut to 21x15cm or 5.5cm more than a standard photo

• practice paper
• heavy card
• plastic
• coloured card border

1. Craft glue (white glue)
2. Prestik
3. Selection of about 23 caps, fewer if some are big
4. Paper clip and tape

Method

1. Meerkats arrange the tops together in a border on the practice paper
2. Glue the edges of the plastic to the thick card on THREE sides.The top side is open so a photo can slide in.
3. Glue the border on top of the plastic
4. Press prestick in fours long strips along the border, making it about 0.5 cm wide.
5. Push the tops onto the prestick
6. Put the paperclip with tape on the back
7. Take a Burrow photo
8. Print the photo for the following week
