The Scaffold hitch is used to temporarily attach a rope to a plank.
Tying
- Wrap the rope over the scaffold plank so it crosses the top of the plank three times.
- Pull the first loop (from the standing end) over the second loop
- Pull the second loop over the 1st and 3rd loops and over the end of the plank.
- Pull both ends of the rope to set the knot.
- Complete the knot by attaching the working end to the standing part with a bowline.
