Ingredients
- Tin of bully beef
- 5ml mixed herbs
- 2 or 3 onions, diced
- Salt
- Pepper
- Curry powder
- 1 or 2 chopped turnips
- 2 or 3 chopped carrots
- 1 potato per person, peeled and diced
Method
- Place all the vegetables in the Dutch oven with the seasoning, and just cover with water.
- Cover with the lid, bring to boil and then let it simmer slowly until the vegetables are just tender.
- Ten minutes before the vegetables are ready, add the bully beef and allow the mixture to simmer and a gravy to form.
Note: Try to cut all the vegetables approximately the same size so that they take the same amount of time to cook
