This is an annual Cub and Scout event held in the Tshwane area. The time has come to plan YOUR entry into Field Day – the event where you can expect the Unexpected!!!
- Date: 18 – 20 August 2023
- Place: Voortrekkerplass, Haartebeestfontein
- GPS: S 25 26.5436 E 28 30.3860
- Closing date for entries: 30 July 2023
Scouting Activities
Scouts may camp from Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon.
- Opening Parade is on Saturday morning.
- Competitions will be run on: Camping, Cooking, First Aid, Jolomk’u, Orienteering, Pioneering, Scoutcraft, Staving, Stalking and Sport
- Campfire will be held on Saturday evening
- Closing parade s on Sunday Afternoon.
Akela Challenge
The Cub activities will run on Saturday 19 August 2023
Please, we need volunteers to help run the various bases, sport, and admin. If you can assist, then contact Falcon (Neil Marshall) , your help will make this competition be a great success.
