Beginning
The old 2nd Cambridge in July 1991 changed its name to 1st Vincent. The Group Scouter was Heini Smidt, Troop Scouter Duncan Oelschig and Pack Scouter D-J Hodgkinson.
The current Pack Scouter, Sharon du Plessis, took over in 2019 after the previous Pack Scouter, Leigh-ann Kretzmann, retired after 17 years with the Cub Pack at 1st Vincent.
In April 2024, a Scout Troop was re-introduced under the guidance of Troop Scouter Craig du Plessis. There were 9 Scouts at the beginning of this Troop with seven of those having earned their [Leaping Wolf Badge]!
1st Vincent Scout Group is in the Cape Border District which falls under the Eastern Cape South Region
