Fire bow

A fire bow or "bow drill" uses friction to create heat, which enables the creation of fire. When the heat is sufficient in the presence of fuel (wood) and oxygen, fire will start.
Method
- Get a bunch of small dry tinder and a soft wood bark base
- Find a lightly curved stick similar to a bow. It should be about 1 to 2 cm in diameter. The stick must be sturdy and made of a hard wood. This will serve as the base of your "bow".
- Next find a thick stick, roughly 1 cm in diameter and 15 cm in length. This will be the "drill".
- Make a hard wood plank for a hand grip.
- Use a shoelace, para-cord, twine or leather cord for the bow-string.
