Rover Leadership Course

The Rover Leadership course is intended to provide Rovers with enough knowledge to run a Crew. The chapter on Crews provided in this manual is based on what is covered in the Course. This course is generally run over two days.

It should be noted that this course is part of the formal Adult Leader Training as it is run by a member of the Regional Adult Leader Training Team. Any Rover who has attended the course, and feels that they can train a session on the course may do so, in consultation with the Course Director.

The course is split into three core modules:

• Introduction to Rovers
• Rover Management
• Project Management Skills for Rovers

Completion of all three modules will grant you credit as having completed the Rover Leadership Course. Please liase with your Regional Adult Leader Training Team for more information.
