The Scout Trail
The Scout Trail describes the advancement programme used in Scouts in South Africa. It has also been used as the name for various Scout handbooks over the years.
My Scout Journey and The Scout Trail (2019)
My Scout Journey is a 320 page, full colour Scout handbook covering the full Scout Advancement programme, with information to assist Scouts in achieving the Adventure, Safety, Camping, Service, ScOUT skills and Personal Development requirements for each advancement level. The book can be purchased from the Scout Shop
The Scout Trail, published in PDF form, is a short publication listing the current Scout Advancement Programme requirements, which were updated following the introduction of the Entsha Programme in 2019.

The Scout Trail (for junior Scouts) and The Scout Target (for senior Scouts) were published in 1989, authored by Jay Heale.
The Scout Trail and Die Padvinderspoor (1966)
A bilingual version of The Scout Trail / Die Padvinderspoor was published in about 1966. The English and Afrikaans versions appeared in a single reversible volume.
