Assistant Patrol Leader

The Assistant Patrol Leader (APL) is a Scout who is the second-in-charge of a Patrol in a Scout Troop. The APL is selected by the Patrol Leader (PL), with the approval of the Troop Scouter and Court of Honour, to assist the PL and to stand in for the PL when the PL is away.

The APL wears a single white stripe on the left pocket of their Scout shirt. See uniform badge placement.
